Student Life Overrun with Sweet Treats

It’s been months since the student government purchased ice cream with hope that it would disappear in minutes on an open campus. However, the Student Life’s supply is still in the office freezer awaiting anyone with a sweet tooth.

“We had these events that we were hoping like, oh, it’ll be nice. We’ll be outside, we’ll get lots of students back,” said Director Sarah Gruhler.

The lack of students on campus resulted in a surplus of frozen treats. In an effort to spread awareness about the ice cream, student life resorted to walking around with an ice chest. Undoubtedly, the team received some odd looks.

Gruhler promises she won’t be hurt if a student’s only motive in visiting student life (located in Penguin Union Building, Room 160) is for a sweet treat.

The ice cream bars will also be out and available during the APB Earth Day Celebration today in Gaiser Hall, April 20, 2022, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

The list of ice cream bar flavors currently available includes:
Big Stick – Cherry Pineapple Swirl
Bubble Gum Bar
Chocolate Shortcake
Cotton Candy Twirl
Fudge Bar
Savagely Sour – Blue Raspberry
Strawberry Shortcake
Wacky Watermelon
