Curious about calligraphy? Join a virtual event by Clark College’s ASCC Japanese Program as they welcome artist Sora to teach viewers about Shodo on April 30. The event includes a lecture on Shodo calligraphy, demonstration, and Q&A.

Shodo is the Japanese form of calligraphy. For the past four years, Sora has worked as a performance artist who creates pieces based off of her audience members’ energies.

The event is free and open to the public.

To join, click here or enter this Zoom Meeting ID: 864 5559 5640 and Passcode: shodo
