The T Building on Clark’s main campus will not be open on Thursday, Feb. 7.
The Clark community has already experienced below freezing temperatures and snow this week. Now Vice President of Administrative Services Bob Williamson reports that the T Building is too cold for faculty, staff and students. Students with classes in the T Building will be notified of the closure via email by student affairs.
“Due to a malfunctioning boiler, temperatures in the T Building are now too low to accommodate our faculty, staff and students,” Williamson wrote in an email to staff on Wednesday evening.
In an earlier email that day, Williamson said there was hope that the heat would be restored in time for classes on Thursday. However, Facilities Services have since stated that the heat will not be restored in time.
According to Williamson’s latest email, the office of instruction are working to relocate as many classes as possible.
The Indy would like to remind students to check Canvas, student email and the Class Today web page for updates before heading out in the cold.
