The ASCC will host its first Student Appreciation Luncheons for student committees on March 8 from 11 a.m to noon in PUB 258 A and B according to ASCC Vice President Ndeye Astou Cisse.
Cisse said the luncheon is a way to thank the student leaders, connect them with committee chairs and help the students feel valued.
“They represent over 11,000 students on campus by serving on committees, making decisions and contributing to the evolution of the campus,” Cisse said. “Since they have never had anything for them in the past we decided to have a luncheon.”
Cisse said the ASCC wants to host more student appreciation luncheons in the future.
