Culinary Success Leads To Early Cafeteria Closure

Clark’s new culinary facility stopped serving food around 1 p.m. today after running out of hamburger buns and other items.

Food Service Manager Becky Lindsay said, “we did so much more this week than we could ever have imagined. We were surprised by how busy we were.” An exact number of student purchases could not be provided.

She said the cafeteria closes at 2 p.m. on Friday and students study in the new space.

This was the facility’s third day of full operation after its ribbon-cutting on Tuesday.

Lindsay said they increased their food order and planned a second delivery  to avoid running out next week.
