Disney-themed Student Involvement Fair

Gaiser Student Center was abuzz on Wednesday afternoon with the quarterly ASCC Student Involvement Fair. Students milled about tables and displays, learning about student clubs, ASCC programs and other various Clark resources.

ASCC Club Coordinator Kara Meredith organized the fair, incorporating a Disney theme with cupcakes, cookies, trivia and prizes. Clubs and programs were encouraged to decorate their displays with the theme as well, in order to be “eligible to win a pizza party for the best decorated booth,” Meredith said. There was also a Disney-themed photo booth set up on stage.

Meredith said that adding themes has improved the Student Involvement Fairs. “It helps to bring everything together,” Meredith said. Last quarter’s fair had a Star Wars theme. She said these fairs contribute to an increase in student involvement, but admitted she’ll never be satisfied.

The Manga and Anime Club, International Club, Veterans Resource Center and the Phoenix were just a few of the organizations present.
