After embarking on a four-week excursion through France over Winter break, Iara Lomprey spoke to to her fellow students on Monday.
Lomprey traveled to Paris and Marseille, before skiing on Mont Granier for New Year’s. She presented photographs from all the locations she visited, as well as some souvenirs, including soap, which she passed around the classroom.
“About every three to five years, someone comes to class with that kind of experience to share,” said French professor Doug Mrazek, in an email. “It’s the dream of a lifetime for many.”
Lomprey, who is fluent in both English and Portuguese, said she plans to return to France this summer for further exploration.
