Ushers Needed

Clark College theatre is in need of volunteer ushers for its upcoming production of “Avenue Q,” which runs Feb. 19, 20, 26 and 27 and March 3-5.

Drama professor and director of the play, Gene Biby, said that he could “get by” with two ushers for each performance, but since the play is expected to draw a large crowd, four would be ideal.
Ushers will be responsible for checking attendees’ tickets, showing them to their assigned seats and, in case of an emergency, guiding them to an exit. They are expected to arrive at least 30 minutes before showtime at 7:30 p.m.

Volunteers also will have the chance to see the play the night they usher.

Students who wish to volunteer can contact Biby by emailing him at gbiby@clark.edu or by phone at (360) 992-2346.
