Students Love ‘X Lovers’

The Activities Programming Board sponsored an “X Lovers” concert on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Gaiser Student Center for all faculty and students.

The pop/acoustic band from Nevada sang nine songs, including songs by Rolling Stones and The Beatles as well as some originals. Members of the band include lead vocalist London Jackson, drummer Jacob Ames and lead guitarist Max Mann.

“I liked the concert because their voices have resonance, and they have potential to make it to professional level,” said Clark student Charles Bradshaw.

“The band seemed really professional for a group of young guys,” said Clark student Kelsi Cochran. “[It] sucks they didn’t have a bigger crowd. They’re really talented.”

Family Events Coordinator Ashley Ansbergs said students want more live band performances, so she is looking into bringing awarness to local musicians for further Clark events.

The APB hired Pacific Perks to provide an espresso bar at 9 a.m. that was free for those who attended.
