A spiritual guide of the Hawaiian community and a Clark bookstore employee will speak at the Students of Color Luncheon on June 1 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
D.S. Kaina Barba educates people about Hawaiian culture, said Multicultural Retention Manager Felisciana Peralta. He will describe his life journey and how he builds community while being a person of color.
In addition, two Clark students will be honored with the Constance Baker Motley Scholarship.
The free event is in PUB 161 and is open to all students, staff and faculty. Food will be provided.
