Clark College will host a Memorial Day Event May 19 at 2 p.m. in PUB 161 to honor veterans. Dr. Samantha Powers is the guest speaker.
Powers is the Project Director for the Veterans Training Support Center at Edmonds Community College. Powers also served in the Air Force and was deployed in Kuwait, Afghanistan and Iraq. She has been involved with various leadership and emergency management programs.
As well as Dr. Powers’ presentation, colors will be presented and refreshments will be provided.
