Clark College’s Corporate and Continuing Education chapter changed its name to Clark College Economic and Community Development to reflect recent internal updates.
Among these changes are a new logo, website design and address at www.ecd.clark.edu.
Associate Vice Principal of ECD Kevin Witte said, “ECD’s improvements are designed to meet the growing needs of [our] community of learners.”
With these changes, Witte will advocate participation in numerous economic growth initiatives and broaden ECD’s reach with customized trainings at small and large organizations, the ECD website said.
According to the website, EDC is an offshoot of Clark College and is “Southwest Washington’s leading institution for workforce training and non-credit learning,” according to their website.
They partner with healthcare providers, business firms, educators, government organizations, manufacturing businesses and nonprofit organizations to provide students with contracted employee training.
