ASCC gave students a warm welcome back to school by providing several activities and free refreshments throughout the first week of Winter Quarter.
Clark’s ASCC puts together a welcome week for students every quarter, offering free doughnuts, coffee and oatmeal. This quarter, ASCC offered daily activities from decorating sugar cookies to “Harry Potter” trivia to a seminar on college success.
Director of Student Life Sarah Gruhler said they wanted to “do something more interactive” and “get students to come and be more involved in the community.”
The student government funded the activities and it remains to be seen whether this will be an ongoing part of welcome week.
