Quarantine is the time to explore the movies and television shows you never had the opportunity to watch. Watching films is a way to escape and take a break from reality. Giving yourself some time to step away and relax is a moment worth having.
Movies are a way to laugh or cry by pulling you away and into a world, you have never been to.
Clark College student Grace Nolan said her favorite movie is “Talladega Nights” because she is able to quote almost every single line in the movie. It made her laugh allowing her to forget about the negative things in her life.
When asked about her least favorite movie Nolan said, “I don’t have a least favorite because I try not to watch things I won’t like.”
Movies are also a good way to see your favorite books come to life. Some amazingly done book-to-movie adaptations include “The Hunger Games,” “The Lord of the Rings,” “Fight Club” and “To Kill a Mockingbird.”
Nolan said her favorite book-to-movie adaptation is “Divergent” and “The Fault in Our Stars”
Some other good movie series to watch are “Harry Potter,” “The Hobbit,” “Star Wars,” “Star Trek,” “Pirates of the Caribbean,” “Bourne” and “Fast and Furious”.
T.V. series are another good way to step away from real life, some of the best T.V. series include, “Pysch,” “The Witcher,” “Sherlock,” “Avatar: The Last Airbender” and “Game of Thrones.”
Nolan is an avid T.V. series viewer she shared that her favorite series is “New Girl” and “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” because of their good storylines.
The worst movie that Nolan watched was “Cats” she said, “I just thought it was going to be better.”
Nolan also said that some good comfort movies are “White Chicks” and “She’s the Man” because they never fail to make her laugh.
