Clark College President Bob Knight will deliver his annual State of the College address this Thursday, Jan. 17.
Last year, Knight talked about Clark’s program to aid students on the path toward graduation, the Boschma Farms campus in Ridgefield and his love for pecan bars.
Since then, Clark has made the news for a variety reasons.
In October 2018, Oregon Public Broadcasting reported on the resignation of several high-ranking women of color on staff, following Indy coverage of the same issue earlier that year. The wave of departures raises questions about Clark’s relationship with systemically non-dominant staff and students.
Clark also made the news with the release of two new programs: a bachelor’s degree in Human Services and a partnership with Dick Hannah Dealerships that offers hands on training for automotive students.
