A registered level III sex offender is enrolled in classes at Clark’s main campus this Fall quarter. A level III sex offender is in the category law enforcement officials consider most dangerous to the public, as they are most likely to reoffend.
Randy Darryl Allen, 30, was first convicted for sexually molesting an 11-year-old girl in 2001, when he was 14 years old. He was later convicted in 2006 for sexual molestation after he had sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old girl when he was 19.
Allen was most recently convicted five years ago for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old female, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Clark County’s Sex Offenders Registration Unit and Department of Corrections are currently monitoring Allen, and Director of Security/Safety and Emergency Management Nikki Barone said she met with Allen on the first day of the Fall quarter.
