Students will learn how 3D printing can take a design to a finished product at Print Your Own Prototype, the latest in the STEM Seminar Series, on Friday at noon in APH 201.
The event will be hosted by Kelly Kessler and Sue Mead from 3D Systems and is the first time Clark will work with the company, according to STEM coordinator Erin Harwood.
“Kelly has a sister that teaches Math here at Clark, so that’s how the connection was made,” Harwood said.
3D Systems sells printers, print materials, on-demand parts services and digital design tools to businesses, including the healthcare industry, according to their website.
Clark students are introduced to 3D printing in the Engineering department.
