Knockerball Comes to Clark

Don’t be alarmed if you see large inflatable balls bouncing around Clark’s practice field. It’s just Knockerball.

Clark is renting equipment from Knockerball Portland for a 2 to 4 p.m. game session on May 20. The event will be held on the practice field across from the OSC gym.

Knockerball is a sport that sees players step into a large inflatable sphere with shoulder straps and bounce, fall, spin and ram into opponents in an effort to score goals.

The company will set up games such as KnockerSoccer and flag football, according to Clark’s intramurals program director Travis Garrison.

“We’re going to enjoy knocking each other around,” Garrison said.

To reserve a spot, pay $12 at the cashier’s office and send your receipt to tgarrison@clark.edu, or bring the receipt with you to play.
