Dance of Ghana

Gaiser Student Center will echo with the sounds of Ghanaian music come Thursday morning.

APB is welcoming back the newly-named Obo Addy Legacy Project to perform at Clark. The project is a non-profit organization that seeks to promote African arts through live performances.

“It’s something very different than just showing a movie,” said Victoria Fidkevich, the APB Awareness Events coordinator. “Having professional musicians and performers from Ghana sounded really cool.”

The event will run from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., and free snacks will be provided. The performances will include Ghanaian drumming and dancing.

Fidkevich said she expects to have around 150 students attend the event.
