The Financial Aid Office in Gaiser Hall celebrated St. Patrick’s Day early on Wednesday by giving students the chance to be one of two lucky winners of a $150 Clark College Foundation Scholarship.
Students who are still feeling lucky have until April 13 to apply for the foundation’s scholarships at washboard.org. The St. Patrick’s Scholarships are available to all current and returning Clark students enrolled in six or more credits with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
“This is great way to make students aware of the various scholarships available to them,” said Program Coordinator Kendra Graham.
There was also a photo booth set up outside of the office with a chance to win a “selfie contest.” The selfie receiving the most likes on Instagram or Facebook won a coffee mug or t-shirt.
This was the second time Financial Aid office held an event like this, after hosting a similar event for Valentine’s Day last month.
