Valentine’s Day at Clark

Clark’s Financial Aid Department held its first campus Valentine’s Day Card Scavenger Hunt Feb. 9-15. The event celebrated the national day of love and honored National Financial Aid awareness month.

Students were given clues to the cards’ whereabouts around campus via Financial Aid’s Facebook page. After turning in the cards to Financial Aid, participants were entered to win a variety of prizes from Clark gear to Star Wars figurines.

Over the last week, Financial Aid’s Facebook page likes grew by more than 300 percent according to Financial Aid’s Andrew Viscariello.

“Many students may not realize that additional funding aid programs exist that can support students who receive public benefits.  These programs are available through Workforce Education Services,” said the director of Workforce Education Services, Armetta Burney.

Clark’s Columbia Tech Center also held a Valentine’s Day event last Thursday, featuring crafts with candy and a contest to win two candy bouquets
