Fire Alarm Triggers Evacuation of the Building

A fire alarm was activated in the PUB at approximately noon today triggering an evacuation of the building.

After students evacuated the building, security officials investigated and allowed everyone back in at 12:15 p.m.

Clark College officials believe the alarm was tripped by smoke from burnt popcorn in the game room lounge outside of Gaiser Hall.

There were no injuries or damage reported at the time of the incident.
