By  in News

Clark College’s Board of Trustees will hold a General Board Meeting on Wednesday in Gaiser Hall in GHL 213 at 5 p.m., according to Leigh Kent, the president’s executive assistant. In accordance to the Open Public Meetings Act, the meeting will be open to the public.

The meeting will cover sabbatical requests, consideration of tenure and the 2015-16 ASCC budget, according to the board meeting packet.

“The trustees oversee the governance of the college,” Leigh said. Since the meeting will feature presentations from both faculty and students, “students get to see all aspects of what goes on at the college.”

Clark President Bob Knight will introduce presentations from The Independent staff, Track and Field Athletics and coaching staff, Student Success and the welding program.

The trustees will have a work session before the meeting from 4-5 p.m. in PUB 258C.
