Clark College is hosting a Job Fair in Gaiser Hall as part of the Career Days event on April 29 to help students connect with potential employers in the area.
Representatives from 80 local companies will be available 11 a.m.-3 p.m. according to the Clark College website.
Clark Employee Relations Specialist Brianna Lisenbee said they found the employers through a mix of community outreach and past business. Clark specifically targeted employers seeing job growth, said Lisenbee.
The full list of participating employers can be found on the Clark College website and includes representatives from Washington State Patrol, The Vancouver Clinic, and KOIN Local 6 Television.
The recruiters will help students apply for job openings and provide career information and tips for success.
“Students should come ready to interview.” Lisenbee said. “They should have their resume and be well-dressed, because there is the potential for up to 80 job interviews.”
