The Clark College Bookstore is fundraising to provide 100 copies of Dr. Seuss’ book “The Cat in the Hat” for students of King’s Elementary school.
According to a press release, this is the bookstore’s seventh annual book drive. The store will deliver the books to students on March 2 for Read Across America Day. Bookstore volunteers will read the books to students.
According to the press release, King Elementary School teacher Shari Perea said, “The Clark College Book Drive is a wonderful opportunity for King students to hear another adult read a book to them.”
Copies of “The Cat in the Hat” will be sold for $6.85 Feb. 16-27. The book will be available in the Clark bookstore located in Gaiser Hall or online at the bookstore’s website.
