Help Wanted for Thanksgiving Basket Drive

By Drew Telegin in Campus

Today is the last day to submit a name for the Clark Phi Theta Kappa honor society’s Thanksgiving basket drive.

Matthew Gallaher, adviser of Phi Theta Kappa, said the drive helps provide for less fortunate students and their families this holiday season.

The society is asking people to provide names of students who could use a basket this season. You are also required to submit the SID number, phone number and working email for the applicant you suggest.

In order to be eligible, students must currently be enrolled in at least one credit full cost tuition course.

The society is also asking for donations. Each basket costs $35.

People writing a check should make it out to Clark College and out Phi Theta Thanksgiving Baskets in the memo.

The deadline for providing the names of individuals is Nov. 17 at 5 p.m. and the deadline for donations is Nov. 24 at 5 p.m.

Both checks and student names can be given to Matthew Gallaher in Foster Hall 101, email mgallaher@clark.edu.
