In the spirit of Disability Awareness Month, Clark will host a talk about ableism, marginalization and disability justice on Tuesday, Oct. 28 from noon to 1 p.m in the Gaiser Student Center.
Caitlin Wood, a disabled writer, speaker, educator and consultant will give a speech titled “Deconstructing Disability.”
Wood works as an advocate combating the social stigma associated with having a disability. She co-founded the disability website “Where’s Lulu” and has served on the Portland Commission on Disability. She also owns May Day Consulting LLC.
