The 2nd Annual International Photo Contest is open to Clark College students, faculty and staff.
Winning entries will be displayed in the Gaiser Student Center during International Education Week on Nov. 19. Winners will be selected by majority vote of students, faculty and staff.
Jody Shulnak, international programs manager, described the event as one of many activities to increase awareness of other cultures.
“Our hope is to engage the entire community by submitting a photo or by voting,” Shulnak said.
Entries are due Oct. 20.
The photo must demonstrate a “Sense of Place” in a country separate from the photographer’s home. Photos that do not display an international focus will not be accepted.
One photo entry is allowed per person. Only digital submissions are reviewed. The file must be smaller than 2MB in JPEG format only in medium to high resolution. The photo may be no more than 10 years old. Photo editing software such as Photoshop is not allowed. Submit photo with no caption or border.
Ownership and all other rights to future use belong to the entrant. Entries, including name and title, may be published to the Clark College website and Facebook pages. They may also be printed and displayed for contest purposes.
Submit photos to international@clark.edu with entrant’s name, SID number, email address, telephone number, Clark College status (Student, faculty, staff), location and year of photo.
