Clark is hosting the second annual Penguin Try Triathlon June 8.
The race will start at the Kennedy Center, Washington State School for the Blind. There will be three waves of start times beginning at 9 a.m., 9:20 a.m., and 9:40 a.m.
The race consists of a 500 meter swim, 15 kilometer bike race and will conclude with a three kilometer run. Students of all experience levels are welcome to participate, but some training is recommended, said Director of Intramurals Garet Studer.
“It’s going to be really fun. It’s going to be good weather,” Studer said. “It’s always nice when the weather participates.”
The $20 entry fee, or $40 if you sign up as a group, can be paid at the cashier’s office in Gaiser Hall. To secure a place, participants must bring their receipt to Studer in the O’Connell Sports Center.
