Athletic director Charles Guthrie has taken a job at San Francisco State effective July 1, according to a press release from the Division II university.
Guthrie has been the Director of Athletics at Clark since August 2011. This year 10 of the 11 sports programs at Clark made the postseason, and SF State is looking for continued success with Guthrie’s hiring, the press release said.
“I think I’m leaving the program in good hands,” Guthrie said. “We’re proud about the past three years.”
The athletic director position at Clark will be open in the next few days, according to Guthrie.
