Clark will hold two accent reduction classes this spring for Clark students.
The first class, on May 13, focuses on consonant pronunciation. The second class, on June 3, is for vowel pronunciation. Both classes are in Joan Stout Hall room 116 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:20 p.m..
English as a second language instructor Nicole Martinez said the goal of accent-reduction classes is to make communicating easier, not to eliminate the accent.
Each class costs $35. Students can register at cce.clark.edu.
