A fitness training class has created an opportunity for students who have specific conditions or needs to receive free training sessions.
Health & physical education professor Lisa Borho is recruiting 14 volunteers to work out with student fitness trainers as part of FT 261 Exercise Prescription II – Special Populations. The conditions may include: pregnancy, hypertension, diabetes or asthma.
As part of the class, student trainers will meet with participants for ten free personal training sessions.
Volunteers are expected to be available frequently throughout the week during afternoons from May 5 to June 13.
