The ASCC approved a $5,700 one-time funding request to purchase new baseball uniforms last Friday.
The baseball program has already raised $1,500 to replace the 4-year-old uniforms. Director of Athletics Charles Guthrie said the program will save 45 percent on their new uniforms through their partnership with Adidas.
According to Guthrie, the team would purchase about 34 uniforms for the 28 athletes and coaches.
Previous uniforms were purchased by athletes with no ASCC funds, according to Guthrie.
