Shooting Near Clark Campus

Update: Deborah Lennon, 46, shot Allen Bricker, 45, twice in the chest after entering his office on the fourth floor of the Center for Community Health. Neil Burkhardt also injured his hand while disarming Lennon. Lennon had previously threatened to kill Bricker in Jan. 2013, The Columbian reported.

Two people were injured in a shooting that occurred in the Center for Community Health Building at the Veterans Affairs Campus at about 4 p.m. yesterday, “The Columbian” reported.

There was no active threat to students or faculty, according to an email by Clark’s Chief Communications Officer Chato Hazelbaker.

The shooter, whose identity has not been revealed, is being described as a blonde middle-aged woman. The motive is not yet known.
