Clark’s volleyball team had one of its best days of the year Friday, winning three out of four matches at the Bellevue Crossover Tournament in Bellevue, Wash.
The Penguins beat Skagit Valley 3-2, Grays Harbor 2-0 and Columbia Basin 2-0. Their only loss was against Clackamas Community College, finishing 0-3.
The Penguins weren’t able to repeat Friday’s successes the next day, losing two games to Olympic College.
The team is 10-14 this year, and after losing eight of its first nine games, is working their way to a .500 record.
